Groundnut Chutney:


Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Groundnuts (Roasted) – ¼ cup

Coconut – 1/3 cup

Dry chillies – 2 (if required)

Garlic – 1 Cloves with Skin

Ginger – small pieces


Oil – 1 tsp

Mustard seeds – ½ tsp

Urad dal – ¼ tsp

Fennel seeds – ½ tsp

Cumin seeds – ½ tsp

Curry leaves – 4


  • Roast groundnuts in a dry pan and remove the skin.

  • Now add all the ingredients listed above, in a blender and grind it into paste by adding required amount of water.

  • Add oil to the pan, add mustards after its splutter, add urad dal, fennel, jeera and curry leaves. Now add these tempering to the grounded mixture and add salt to taste.

  • Serve and Enjoy it with Idly, Dosa, Uppma, Pongal and Kichidi.
