My Anniversary Day !!!

Happy to share with you all,
March 19 my second anniversary (registration day), I have celebrated happily with my husband this time, because last year I was in India waiting for my visa. Wow !! what a wonderful day? Can’t able to describe it. Before that week, he order me a nice sports (Invicta brand) watch for me, green dial with stainless steel bracelet. Really it looks so gorgeous.

I always fascinated about Italian foods, but never got an opportunity to taste, Since my husband did his research (Ph.D.) in Italy, so he always talk about their food & culture. By hearing all those nice things, I became so crazy about Italian food. So I often ask him for a visit to a nice authentic Italian restaurant. On the day before on our anniversary, I was really surprised, while he told me that he made a reservation for dinner in an Italian restaurant (La Dolce Vita). “La Dolce Vita” meaning of this restaurant name is ” The Sweet Life”. It’s almost 20 minutes we drove from our place. I am so crazily waiting for this time. I have worn yellow cream brown color shawl over black t-shirt on top and he had worn black sweater over white shirt.
Finally we reached that place, I was so eager to go inside the restaurant. What a lovely moment? I just felt that, I am so luckiest women in this world, am so happy, he is the righteous man for me, and I am so thankful to dear god.
When entered, we got nice warm welcome and got into our seats, really the table setting looks simple & gorgeous, overhead dim lighting were felts so romantic, nice bar in front of us (sorry, I won’t drink), besides our table an old man playing a melodious romantic music with his guitar. Waiter came to our table, his name is Frank (nice guy), he has shown the menu & explained clearly to us. So, here is our menu & we really loved all the dishes we had.
For appetizer, I ordered

Calamari A La Dolce Vita
calamata olives, roasted peppers, fresh basil, garlic, and spicy marinara

It was a perfect fried & well cooked calamari under spicy marinara sauce with bitter taste olives, roasted peppers, fresh basil and garlic.

My husband ordered,

Escargot
sauteed in a garlic-butter sauce and enveloped in golden puff pastry

The creaminess of garlic butter sauce with golden puff pastry, melting on our mouth & garnished with fresh cilantro.
For entree, I ordered

Penne Del Mezzogiorno
spicy italian sausage, peppers, spinach, calamata olives and parmigiano

Well cooked pasta with chicken, peppers, spinach, calamata olives & parmigiano gives balanced seasoned.
He ordered,

Costine Dagnello
lamb chops chef’s style (La Dolce Vita favorites )

He ordered well cooked lamb, the chops were smeared with garlic & fresh rosemary, nice sautéd asparagus &
buttery mashed potato.
